Description

Honestly, the premise had potential. A supernatural academy setting with a protagonist hiding immense power? I'm generally a sucker for that trope. The initial chapters did a decent job of setting up the world and introducing the core cast. However, I quickly noticed some issues that kept nagging at me as I read on.

It wasn't all bad. The action sequences, when they happened, were fairly well-written and engaging. The author clearly has a knack for describing combat and supernatural abilities. They felt more like caricatures of common tropes than fully fleshed-out individuals. The "innocent justice girl" falling instantly for the MC felt rushed and unearned. The story also seems to borrow heavily from other popular series, leading to a sense of déjà vu.
