His reactions to the constant deaths, the trauma, and the sheer despair felt incredibly authentic. It made him feel like a real person struggling to survive, and I found myself rooting for him every step of the way.
What Works Well
The relationship between Xu Rendong and Lian Qiao, the male lead (ML), is a major highlight. Their dynamic is refreshing – a colder, more reserved MC paired with an outwardly cheerful, puppy-like ML who harbors a darker side.
