I was also intrigued by the tags, particularly "abusive characters" and "coming of age," which suggested a narrative with depth and potential for emotional resonance.

What Works Well

What struck me most was the author's ability to convey the characters' emotions. I found myself deeply invested in Fu Jia's journey, his struggles, and his unwavering pursuit of Lu Qi'an.
