"Hope You’ve Been Well" promised a deeply emotional journey, and it largely delivered, albeit with a few bumps along the way. I found myself completely invested in Zhuang Fanxin and Gu Zhuoyan's love story, from their adorable beginnings to their angst-ridden reunion. It’s a novel that lingers in your thoughts long after you finish reading.

First Impressions

The initial chapters, depicting their high school romance, are undeniably sweet. The author captures the innocence and awkwardness of first love so well that I felt a pang of nostalgia. It's easy to get swept away in their youthful interactions, even with the looming threat of their eventual separation casting a shadow.
