I went in with some curiosity, given the premise, and came out with mixed feelings. It's one of those stories that has flashes of brilliance but stumbles in execution.
First Impressions
The initial hook is pretty classic: a protagonist armed with future knowledge gets a second chance. I always find that trope appealing. The idea of righting past wrongs and becoming the "world's strongest" is undeniably enticing. However, the execution didn't always live up to the potential.
What Works Well
I can see why some readers enjoyed it. When the MC actually uses his future knowledge strategically, it's satisfying. There are moments where the plot is genuinely interesting, even if some of the backstories feel a little cliché (childhood friends, anyone?).
