This title certainly grabbed my attention, and I dove in hoping for a compelling story about overcoming prejudice. While the initial chapters sparked my interest, I ultimately found myself wrestling with some significant issues that prevented me from fully enjoying the novel.

It undermined the message of overcoming prejudice and instead seemed to suggest that assimilation through conforming to beauty standards was the only path to acceptance.

Furthermore, the intelligence and actions of some characters, particularly the antagonist, Amelia, often felt cartoonish and illogical. This made it difficult to take the conflicts seriously and detracted from the overall narrative. The ending also felt rushed, with plot points resolved too quickly and without sufficient depth.

"I'm Not a Villainess!!" had the potential to be a truly impactful story. Unfortunately, the execution falters in key areas, particularly concerning the handling of discrimination and the rushed conclusion.
