Initially, I was drawn in by the strong female lead, Rare. She's intelligent and driven, making calculated decisions in the game world. The early chapters establish a power fantasy vibe, watching her quickly become overpowered and dominate her surroundings. I was definitely intrigued by her seemingly villainous tendencies, especially considering she had the option to play on the "good" side. It sets her apart from your typical protagonist.

What Works Well

What really shines is the game's system and mechanics. The way evolution works, the magic system – it all feels unique and well-thought-out. I enjoyed uncovering the mysteries of the game's inner workings alongside Rare. The worldbuilding and lore are also compelling, hinting at a deeper history that I'm eager to explore further. The action is also a standout, offering a more realistic feel compared to other VRMMORPG novels. Fights aren't just about chaining attacks, but require strategy, teamwork, and ambushes.

Areas of Concern

One consistent critique I've seen is the development of the NPCs. While a few have distinct personalities, many feel bland and serve mostly as goons for Rare to command. This makes it harder to feel invested in the world outside of the main character.
