Full Metal Panic! is a series that’s been on my radar for a while, mainly due to its anime adaptation. Diving into the novel, I was curious to see if it lived up to the hype and explored the world and characters in greater depth. What I found was a mixed bag, a unique blend of military action and high school shenanigans that, while enjoyable at times, also presented some frustrating elements.

At times, the organization Mithril seemed to make elementary mistakes that were difficult to believe, even with the high stakes involved.
