The premise is intriguing: a protagonist reincarnated into a villainous character, armed with the knowledge of his predecessor's fate, and determined to avoid the contrived weakening that led to his downfall. I'm always a sucker for a strong-from-the-start protagonist, and the promise of action, adventure, and even a bit of comedy had me hooked from the synopsis.
First Impressions
Initially, I was drawn in by the concept. The idea of a character actively fighting against plot contrivances is inherently appealing. The academy setting, mixed with the promise of fantasy elements, felt like a solid foundation. The tags also hinted at some potentially interesting character dynamics, including sister and brother complexes, which, depending on the execution, could either be hilarious or a complete turn-off.
