The male lead's devotion to the female lead was a definite highlight, and I enjoyed seeing him actively involved in helping her navigate court drama. The female lead, though initially a bit naive, grew on me as the story progressed, showcasing a decent level of emotional intelligence.
Areas of Concern
The pacing could be uneven at times, with some sections feeling dragged out and repetitive. The villainous cousin, Yu Qingya, occasionally veered into caricature, lacking the depth and nuance I prefer in antagonists. The female lead's initial immaturity frustrated me. I also felt that the ending felt a little rushed and underdeveloped.
