Description
In her previous life, Qin Ke’s sister was married to the eldest son of the Huo family, Huo Zhonglou. However, upon discovering his disfigurement, she fled on the wedding night. Qin Ke was deceived by her foster parents into marrying Huo Zhonglou as a substitute. Later, she was like a beauty hidden in the golden house by him, schemed against by her sister into becoming disabled, and could not escape from that man until her death. Returning to the age of 16, she is determined to rewrite her destiny. Qin Ke changed her high school preference and entered Qiande High School, but she met Huo Jun there. Huo Jun has a paranoid personality, unpredictable mood, and everyone in Qiande High School is afraid of him, except for Qin Ke. In her previous life, she had seen his most ferocious side, risking his life to save her. Huo Jun is indifferent to everyone, but he is extremely tolerant and doting towards Qin Ke. Qin Ke decides to reluctantly accept him. Qin Ke: “Let’s set three rules.” Huo Jun: “You say.” Qin Ke: “No madness, no fierceness, no hooliganism.” Huo Jun l**ked the corner of his mouth and laughed in a hoarse voice. “Okay.” Huo Jun began to behave. The whole school was shocked, and Qin Ke was very satisfied. Until she suddenly discovered that Huo Jun was Huo Zhonglou before his disfigurement. Qin Ke was scared and ran away. Huo Jun pulled her back, blocked her in the small woods in the school, and laughed in a paranoid and desperate manner— “I’ve changed like this, and you still don’t like me?” “No…” “What else do you want?” “…” Qin Ke was quiet for two seconds, carefully raised a finger tip, “Add one more.” “Add what.” “Don’t… don’t play ‘beauty hidden in the golden house’ with me in the future?” **** In her previous life, Qin Ke was like a blank sheet of paper. She had never had a first love and was “married” into the Huo family. All her little tempers and habits were pampered by Huo Zhonglou. Every inch of her was according to his wishes. In this life, those details are deeply ingrained and unchanged, even if only remnants remain, they hook Huo Jun to death. Later, Huo Jun loved her to the extreme and asked through gritted teeth, “Who else have you been with before me?” Qin Ke watched him go crazy, and only laughed in his ear, “…guess?”

My Thoughts on There’re Always Paranoid Thoughts to Monopolize Me
"There’re Always Paranoid Thoughts to Monopolize Me" promises a wild ride, and it mostly delivers, albeit with a few bumps along the way. As someone who enjoys a good dose of drama and a touch of fantasy in my school life stories, I found myself intrigued by the premise of a calm female lead navigating a relationship with a crazily obsessed male lead. It's a trope I'm familiar with, and this novel certainly puts its own spin on it.
First Impressions
Initially, I was drawn in by the fluffy and cute moments sprinkled throughout the story. The dynamic between Qin Ke and Huo Jun (who is also Huo Zhonglou from her past life!) is undeniably captivating. The whole regression storyline, where Qin Ke gets a second chance to avoid the tragic fate of her previous life, adds a layer of intrigue. However, the intensity of Huo Jun's obsession, while fitting the "yandere" tag, can be a bit much at times.
What Works Well
I appreciated that Qin Ke wasn't a damsel in distress. She's portrayed as intelligent and hardworking, with a plan for her life post-rebirth. The fact that she can, to some extent, "handle" Huo Jun's intense personality is a definite plus. The story has many moments of fluff and the author's writing style is undeniably poetic. The novel is also a rather short read if you’re looking for something quick.
Areas of Concern
The male lead is a major red flag. His anger management issues and tendency to resort to violence before thinking things through are definitely problematic. I can also see how some might find the entertainment arc unnecessary and the ending a bit rushed. The plot holes can take away from the story, such as why the FL suddenly moved into the villa or another city. Some of the villains and supporting characters also lack depth, making them feel underdeveloped.

Final Verdict
"There’re Always Paranoid Thoughts to Monopolize Me" is a mixed bag. If you're a fan of the yandere trope and enjoy a fluffy, albeit intense, romance, you might find this story entertaining. However, be prepared for some problematic elements, plot holes, and a male lead whose actions often cross the line. It's not perfect, but it can be a fun, mindless read if you know what you're getting into. I'd give it a cautious recommendation – proceed with awareness.
