The dynamic between Qin Ke and Huo Jun (who is also Huo Zhonglou from her past life!) is undeniably captivating. The whole regression storyline, where Qin Ke gets a second chance to avoid the tragic fate of her previous life, adds a layer of intrigue. The novel is also a rather short read if you’re looking for something quick.

The male lead is a major red flag. His anger management issues and tendency to resort to violence before thinking things through are definitely problematic. I can also see how some might find the entertainment arc unnecessary and the ending a bit rushed. The plot holes can take away from the story, such as why the FL suddenly moved into the villa or another city. Some of the villains and supporting characters also lack depth, making them feel underdeveloped.
