"Stranger's Handbook" is quite the rollercoaster! It throws you into a fantasy world with a summoned protagonist and a heavy dose of comedy, but it's definitely a novel where your mileage may vary. I particularly enjoyed the running gags, like the MC's frequent internal monologues about his impending doom and how the beastmen interpret his fear. Many readers praised the protagonist's down-to-earth personality, finding him a refreshing change from the typical overpowered isekai hero. I agree; his salesmanship skills and ability to read people add a unique flavor to the story. The political scheming also adds a layer of depth, keeping things from becoming too shallow.
