This web novel is definitely a mixed bag. I went in expecting a lighthearted isekai romp, and while it delivers on that front to some extent, it’s also got some noticeable flaws that kept me from truly loving it. It’s the kind of story you can enjoy if you switch your brain off, but don’t go in expecting a masterpiece.
First Impressions
Right off the bat, the story throws you into the familiar isekai trope of a salaryman getting a second chance in another world. The premise is simple enough, and the initial setup is intriguing, if a bit rushed. I was curious to see how the MC would utilize his production skills, but the execution left something to be desired.
What Works Well
I can see why some readers might find this enjoyable. The translation quality is consistently praised, making it an easy read. There's a certain charm to the wish-fulfillment aspect, and the story does provide a decent escape if you're looking for something undemanding. It has all the classic isekai elements: OP protagonist, a harem forming, and a world in need of saving. If you are looking for a quick read to kill time it might be worth it.
Areas of Concern
The biggest issue, in my opinion, is the writing itself. It feels amateurish at times, with plot holes and convenient solutions popping up frequently. The MC seems to stumble upon exactly what he needs, exactly when he needs it, which strains believability. The antagonists can also feel a bit illogical, acting more as plot devices than fully realized characters. I also found the character development to be lacking. Characters are often categorized as friendly, hostile, or cute, each with similar personalities that did not allow for unique interactions.

It's not terrible, but it's far from amazing.
