Okay, that title is a mouthful, right? So, I dove into "I, Who Got Transported..." with a mix of curiosity and trepidation. The premise, with its isekai setup, overpowered protagonist, and yandere knight, promised a wild ride. Did it deliver? Well, it's complicated.
First Impressions
The initial chapters definitely hooked me. The pacing is undeniably fast. I felt like I was thrown headfirst into the action, barely given a chance to catch my breath. The main characters are interesting enough, with the MC seemingly enduring a pretty rough existence and the FL, well, she’s definitely committed to figuring out why.
What Works Well
The initial fast pace and the intriguing dynamic between the MC and the FL were definitely strengths. I found myself wanting to know more about their relationship and the world they inhabit. The translation also seems to be well done, which definitely helps with immersion.
Areas of Concern
Unfortunately, the story seems to stumble quite a bit as it progresses. I noticed the plot takes a hard turn into convoluted territory, introducing elements of parallel worlds, ancient evils, and time loops that become increasingly difficult to follow. The initial intrigue gives way to confusion as the story becomes more and more elaborate. And that title? It's a bit misleading. The "yandere" aspect of the FL is downplayed, and the MC ends up being equally obsessed with her, which kind of undermines the entire premise. Any expectations I had of a harem or even just another girl showing interest were completely dashed.

"I, Who Got Transported..." starts strong with its fast pace and intriguing characters, but ultimately loses its way in a maze of convoluted plot points and underdeveloped themes. I'd say proceed with caution. If you're looking for a quick, mindless read with an OP couple, you might find some enjoyment here. However, if you prefer well-developed characters, a coherent plot, and a satisfying resolution, this one might leave you disappointed.
