Description
My name is Shuzo Morita, a self-proclaimed cool guy (according to myself) who died at the age of 30. However, I was reincarnated into a different world as Shuzo Mori, the third son of a farmer. In this different world, there are statuses, levels, and skills. Normally, people receive their class (occupation) at the age of 10, but I obtained mine when I was only 5 years old. Furthermore, I received another class at the age of 10, becoming the only person in this different world with a double class. Since I’m already at an advantage, I aim to become an adventurer.

I Was Reincarnated into Another World, so I Wanted to Become an Adventurer, but My Class Turned Out to Be a Production-oriented Repairman Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator
My Thoughts on I Was Reincarnated into Another World, so I Wanted to Become an Adventurer, but My Class Turned Out to Be a Production-oriented Repairman
Okay, so, the title is a mouthful, right? "I Was Reincarnated into Another World, so I Wanted to Become an Adventurer, but My Class Turned Out to Be a Production-oriented Repairman." It definitely sets expectations for a fish-out-of-water story with a twist, but does it deliver? Let's dive in.
First Impressions
Initially, I felt the story had potential. The reincarnation trope is well-worn, but the idea of ending up as a repairman in a world geared towards adventure offered an interesting contrast. I was curious to see how the protagonist would navigate this unexpected path and if the author could make the "repairman" class compelling.
What Works Well
The world-building, at least in the beginning, seemed promising. There's a clear sense of magic and adventure, and the game-like elements provide a framework for understanding the protagonist's progression. The initial chapters do a decent job of establishing the character's aspirations and the challenges he faces, which can be engaging.
Areas of Concern
Unfortunately, the story takes a nosedive into some questionable territory. This is where things get complicated. Several readers, including myself, found the inclusion of certain...fetishes... to be incredibly off-putting and frankly, disturbing. The relationships, particularly those involving the protagonist's sister and other young characters, become increasingly problematic. This is a major red flag and significantly detracts from any enjoyment I might have had. Furthermore, the plot veers into bizarre territory with slavery and contrived reasons for the protagonist's inability to escape. The political elements, while potentially interesting, are executed in a simplistic and unconvincing way.

Final Verdict
Ultimately, "I Was Reincarnated into Another World, so I Wanted to Become an Adventurer, but My Class Turned Out to Be a Production-oriented Repairman" fails to live up to its initial promise. While the premise is intriguing, the execution is severely flawed. The inclusion of disturbing and unnecessary content overshadows any potential positives, making it a difficult and unpleasant read. I can't recommend this one.
