I immediately found myself rooting for him to find happiness. The initial chapters are light and easy to read, drawing you into Satori's world and his growing connection with Sousuke.
What Works Well
The strength of this novel lies in its sweetness and the character growth, especially Satori's. Watching him evolve from a shy, withdrawn individual into someone more assertive and confident was a rewarding experience. Sousuke, the ML, plays a significant role in this, acting as a patient and understanding guide. I also appreciated the author's take on the mind-reading trope. Instead of creating the usual drama around it, Sousuke's acceptance of Satori's ability felt refreshing and mature. The story moves along at a brisk pace, keeping you engaged without feeling rushed. The happy ending is a definite plus for those who, like me, appreciate a feel-good conclusion.

While the story is mostly fluffy, there are some elements that gave me pause. The rapid progression of the relationship between Satori and Sousuke felt somewhat jarring. Considering Sousuke's initial lack of memory regarding his past connection with Satori, their intimate relationship seemed to develop a little too quickly. I also couldn't shake the feeling that, at times, the dynamic between them bordered on problematic, especially given Satori's naivete and the power imbalance.
