"I Really Didn’t Want to Be Famous" is a web novel that definitely piqued my interest with its comedic premise and slice-of-life elements, especially since it deals with the entertainment industry in an alternate world. I dove in hoping for a lighthearted read, and I certainly got parts of that.

First Impressions

The initial chapters are quite engaging. The "average-looking protagonist" angle is refreshing, and the comedic undertones are definitely present. The idea of a protagonist who's somewhat "carefree" and maybe even a little "dense" navigating the complexities of fame is inherently appealing. I was ready for a fun ride.
