My Thoughts on Defiled Hero
"Defiled Hero" presents an intriguing premise: a betrayed hero reincarnated and seeking revenge. However, whether it delivers on that premise seems to be a point of contention among readers, including myself. While the initial chapters hint at a darker, vengeance-driven narrative, the story quickly pivots, becoming something quite different.
First Impressions
Initially, I was drawn in by the promise of a wronged protagonist seeking retribution. The initial setup, with the MC's betrayal and subsequent reincarnation, had potential. However, it became clear that the tone shifts dramatically as the story progresses. The "defiled" aspect seems to fade, replaced by a lighter, more comedic atmosphere.
