The core of the novel lies in the relationship between Jiang Suizhou (MC) and Huo Wujiu (ML). Their dynamic is genuinely heartwarming, and their slow-burn romance felt natural and earned. The political intrigue, while not overly complex, provided a good backdrop for their relationship to develop.
