I was immediately intrigued by the premise. A flawed female lead who isn't a transmigrator, but instead gets a glimpse of a bad future? Sign me up! The early chapters set a good pace, introducing the key players and the impending doom hanging over the FL's family.
What Works Well
The biggest strength of this novel, in my opinion, is the complexity of the characters, particularly the female lead. She's not magically reformed after seeing the future; she still makes questionable choices and can be manipulative. I found this realism refreshing. It's a toxic relationship, no doubt, but fascinating to watch as they're drawn to each other like moths to a flame. The push and pull, the enemies-to-lovers dynamic (and back again!), kept me hooked.

The toxicity of the relationship is definitely a double-edged sword. While some readers might enjoy the drama, others might find it frustrating. Also, the FL's initial "princess syndrome" can be a bit grating.
