Okay, that title is a mouthful, isn't it? Going in, I was hoping for a fun twist on the reincarnation trope, maybe a bit of villainous scheming mixed with fluffy slice-of-life moments. The premise – a powerful mage trying to live peacefully – definitely piqued my interest.
What Works Well
The initial concept is genuinely appealing. The idea of a ridiculously overpowered protagonist actively trying not to be the center of attention has potential for both comedic and strategic moments. I appreciate the hints of complex family relationships and European-inspired world-building. The promise of a charming protagonist, even a slightly villainous one, is also a plus. The magic system seems interesting, and I like that the main character has a loyal maid.
