"A Solution for Jealousy" promised a sweet, song-inspired romance, and while it delivered on some fronts, I walked away feeling a little… incomplete. This short story, rooted in the modern-day school life genre, definitely has its charms, but also some aspects that left me wanting more.

The premise, built upon a Vocaloid song, immediately grabbed my attention. The idea of exploring jealousy within the intricate web of high school relationships felt ripe with potential for both heartwarming moments and relatable drama. The initial chapters drew me in with their lighthearted tone and the promise of budding romance.

The author does a good job capturing the awkwardness and sweetness of first love. I found myself easily invested in the main characters and their struggles with unspoken feelings and, of course, jealousy. The pacing is brisk, fitting for a short story, and the writing style is easy to follow, making it a pleasant read overall. The focus on the characters' internal conflicts felt authentic and resonated with my own memories of navigating teenage emotions.

My main issue stems from the ending. While I appreciate the author's choice to keep things realistic, the open-ended nature of the central relationship left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. I was hoping for a more definitive resolution, a clearer indication of where the main characters stood. I also felt like there was potential to explore the side characters and their romantic entanglements further.
