However, my experience with the story has been mixed, and while there are elements I appreciate, some significant flaws hold it back.

One of the biggest issues I encountered was the protagonist's seemingly instant acceptance and expertise in his new role. The MC acts as if he has been the earl's adviser for decades after only being there for a few days, teaching the earl's son and daughter lessons from his vast knowledge and wisdom of his original world, giving business advice one after another and making deals on behalf of the earl, all before trying to figure out left from right in the new world. This came across as somewhat arrogant and unrealistic. The ease with which everyone accepts his ideas and advice also feels a bit too convenient, lacking the natural resistance and skepticism one might expect. The POV also sometimes shifts erratically, jumping between first-person, third-person, and even other characters' perspectives without clear transitions. This resulted in a confusing and disjointed reading experience. Finally, the writing itself feels somewhat dry and lacks the immersive quality needed to truly draw the reader in.
