The core strength of this story lies in its central relationship. Yao Yao and Wen Zhou are undeniably charming, and I enjoyed watching their connection develop. The author really nails the dynamic between them, especially Yao Yao's honesty about her desires. It's refreshing to see a female lead embrace her sexuality without unnecessary coyness or shame. Wen Zhou himself is an intriguing character, a bit of a playful enigma, and his "forest-like" nature, as one reader described it, adds to his allure. The plot twist near the end, explaining the depth of Wen Zhou's feelings, was well-executed and added a satisfying layer to their romance. It provided a heartwarming explanation for his initial attraction, elevating the story beyond a simple love affair.

A glimpse into their future, perhaps dealing with the consequences of their relationship or simply enjoying their life together, would have been a welcome addition.
