Initially, I was charmed by the whole arranged marriage setup and the European ambience. It's a classic trope, but when done well, it can be incredibly engaging. The early chapters set the stage nicely, establishing the initial misunderstandings between the couple. I found myself invested in seeing how their relationship would evolve, or, in this case, potentially dissolve.
