The premise of a wife who's dead set on divorce despite her husband's sudden doting affections is quite the hook. After reading a decent chunk of the story, here's my take.

Initially, I was charmed by the whole arranged marriage setup and the European ambience. It's a classic trope, but when done well, it can be incredibly engaging. The early chapters set the stage nicely, establishing the initial misunderstandings between the couple. I found myself invested in seeing how their relationship would evolve, or, in this case, potentially dissolve.
What Works Well
The biggest strength of this novel, in my opinion, lies in the male lead's character development. He undergoes a significant transformation during his time away at war, returning with improved communication skills and a genuine desire to win back his wife.
