First Impressions
The initial chapters set the stage well, painting a picture of a protagonist reborn into a world of aristocracy and arranged marriages. The potential for drama and romance is immediately apparent, and I was eager to see how the story would unfold.
What Works Well
The translation is a definite strong point. It's clear, understandable, and allows the story to flow smoothly. This is crucial for any translated work, and the team here seems to be doing a commendable job. The world-building, too, seems promising. The setting of ancient China feels authentic.

I can see why someone might struggle to connect with a protagonist who seems to be passively accepting her fate, even after being reborn with knowledge of the future.
