First Impressions
The initial chapters definitely grabbed my attention. The amnesia aspect, and the slow reveal of the protagonist's past, felt like a refreshing change from the typical transmigration story. The promise of an OP female lead, coupled with the presence of a tsundere prince, added a layer of intrigue that kept me hooked.
What Works Well
The strength of this novel lies in its central characters. The female lead is intelligent and fearless, and I appreciated her growth throughout the story. The male lead is also quite charming, and the development of their relationship is definitely a highlight. I found myself rooting for them as a couple.
Areas of Concern
Unfortunately, the execution of the plot didn't quite live up to its potential. While the author touches upon interesting themes like advanced weaponry in a feudal society, gender issues, and human rights, these are not explored in sufficient depth. I felt that many plotlines were rushed and unresolved, leaving me with a sense of dissatisfaction. Also, the interpersonal politics and scheming of the antagonists became repetitive and frustrating after a while. The antagonists were annoying and the conflicts felt like the same thing over and over again.
