Description
He lost his memory after being marked by his archenemy?! … He Xingzhou, an Alpha male, a musician, whose looks and talent are directly proportional, has won numerous awards at a young age. Unfortunately, his emotional intelligence is inversely proportional to his talent. Arrogant and self-absorbed, he doesn’t care about the countless scandals surrounding him. Xiao Can, an Omega male, a small internet celebrity harboring dreams of music, put in a lot of effort to write a catchy song. During the performance, his overly vivid expressions broke the internet. He Xingzhou reposted: “What garbage, is this called music?” Trending: #HeHezhoucallsXiaoCangarbage Xiao Can humbly commented: “Thank you for the criticism. I have always admired He Xingzhou. I hope to receive some guidance from you in person one day.” Trending: #XiaoCanHighEmotionalintelligence He Xingzhou replied: “Not interested.” Trending: #HeHezhouRejectsXiaoCan #HeHezhouScandal #HeHezhouNotDeservingOfHisPosition #XiaoCanWronged Xiao Can remained polite on the surface but seethed with anger behind the scenes. At a certain fashion event, both were invited. Xiao Can mistakenly entered the wrong resting room and encountered the pheromones-out-of-control He Xingzhou. Xiao Can, gloating: He Xingzhou, you don’t seem too well. Are you okay? Before he realized that He Xingzhou’s gaze towards him was off, it was too late. Afterward, He Xingzhou passed out, and the marked Xiao Can fled in a panic. One month later. Xiao Can: Aren’t you supposed to do something about the mess you caused? He Xingzhou: Who are you? Xiao Can, furious, vowed to make this bastard pay. He Xingzhou: Little guy, you have successfully caught my attention.

My Thoughts on Out Of Control Mark
"Out Of Control Mark" is a wild ride of drama, romance, and slice-of-life elements, all set within the omegaverse. I went in expecting a fairly standard enemies-to-lovers story, but what I got was a rollercoaster of emotions, frustrating misunderstandings, and ultimately, a story about flawed people finding their way to each other.
First Impressions
I'll be honest, the beginning was a bit rough. The initial setup, involving a drugged alpha, an accidental marking, and a whole lot of miscommunication, felt a bit cliché. I found myself questioning the MC's actions early on, especially his tendency to jump to conclusions and avoid honest conversations. It took some effort to push through the initial chapters, but I'm glad I did.
What Works Well
Despite the initial hurdles, the novel does have its strengths. I appreciated the character growth, particularly the MC's journey from a somewhat unlikeable tsundere to someone more open and vulnerable. The author did a good job of portraying realistic people with flaws, and I found myself invested in their struggles, even when I wanted to shake them both. Also, the side stories featuring the side couple were a delight and provided a welcome contrast to the main couple's turbulent relationship.
Areas of Concern
One of my biggest issues, and something echoed by other readers, is the MC's communication skills, or rather, the lack thereof. His tendency to keep secrets and misdirect the ML created unnecessary drama and frustration. There were also moments where I felt the novel glossed over some problematic behaviors, particularly those of the character Tan Zhen. While the author seemed to want to portray him sympathetically, his actions felt manipulative and were never truly addressed.

Final Verdict
Overall, "Out Of Control Mark" is a mixed bag. While the characters are flawed and their relationship is often frustrating, there's a certain charm to their chaotic dynamic. If you're willing to overlook some problematic elements and embrace the drama, you might find yourself enjoying this story. However, if you're looking for a straightforward, conflict-free romance, this might not be the novel for you. I'd give it a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars.
