First Impressions

Initially, I was a little hesitant. The early chapters focus heavily on Jian Wei's intense admiration for Jiang Yi, and I can see how some readers might find it a bit…much. There's a fine line between devoted and overly zealous, and I thought the story occasionally tiptoed a little too close to the latter. However, I decided to stick with it, hoping for character development.

What Works Well

The slow-burn romance between Jian Wei and Jiang Yi is definitely the highlight.
