Gu An'an is a fantastic protagonist. She's smart, resilient, and has a great sense of humor, which is crucial for navigating the ridiculous situations she finds herself in. I particularly loved her proactive approach to surviving her pre-determined fate, like taking swimming lessons to avoid drowning! The male lead, Xie Jinxing, is also well-developed. He's not just a typical domineering CEO; there's a depth to his character, and his interactions with Gu An'an are genuinely engaging. The romance between them is sweet and avoids unnecessary misunderstandings, which is always a plus in my book.
The story's plot twists kept me guessing. The whole situation with Su Ruan and her...unique circumstances made the story more interesting. The author does a great job of balancing the humor with the more serious undertones, creating a story that's both lighthearted and thought-provoking.
