Description

Initially, I found the setup intriguing. Our protagonist gets a second chance to redo his life after failing to save a loved one. He vows to gain power at any cost, which immediately sets the stage for a potentially darker, more morally grey story than your typical xianxia. I was definitely hooked by the promise of a determined MC and the mysteries surrounding his past.
What Works Well
What I appreciate most about "Limitless Sword God" is the MC's attitude. He's not overly arrogant or ridiculously humble, but rather adapts his behavior to the situation. This makes him feel more believable and less like a caricature. The story also shines when it comes to world-building; the imaginative setting and expansive world provide a great backdrop for the cultivation and action. I also found the side characters and their interactions with the MC to be refreshing.
