This novel, "I Am a Landlady in the Apocalypse," definitely took me on a ride. It's a blend of post-apocalyptic survival, city-building simulation, and a dash of romance, all centered around a hard-working female protagonist. While it has its charm, some elements left me wanting more.

First Impressions

The initial pace is quick, throwing you right into a world twenty years into a zombie apocalypse. Su Tao, our MC, escapes a neglectful and borderline abusive family and stumbles upon a system that allows her to build and manage properties. The early chapters establish her drive for financial independence and her growing connection with a certain soldier, which immediately hooked me.

I really enjoyed the focus on infrastructure development. It's refreshing to see a post-apocalyptic story that prioritizes rebuilding society and managing resources over constant zombie battles.
