The introduction of Wen Kexing, a flirtatious and mysterious martial artist, immediately piqued my interest. The story felt like it was setting up for a grand adventure, and I was eager to see where it would lead.

The world-building is solid, providing a good sense of the martial arts world without being overwhelming. Many readers praised Priest's writing style, noting its ability to blend horror, action, comedy, and tragedy seamlessly.
