This title is a mouthful, but after diving into the story, I found a generally enjoyable, if not groundbreaking, fantasy tale. It hits many familiar notes of the "kicked out but actually OP" trope, but with a few interesting twists that kept me engaged.
First Impressions
Initially, I was prepared for a fairly generic power fantasy. And while the core premise isn't revolutionary, the execution feels a bit different. The protagonist, Noelle, is undeniably powerful, but her strength doesn't come without struggles. She's not the ultimate, unchallenged force, which is a refreshing change of pace. The story's lighthearted tone and the somewhat unusual dynamic of the MC's storyline feeling shounen-esque while the male lead's is shoujo-esque, adds to the charm.

One of the strongest aspects of this novel is the world-building and the supporting characters. Noelle isn't the only amazing person in the story, which I greatly appreciate. I also enjoyed the fact that Noelle is a hard worker and earned her power. She is a magic book-loving nerd who fought to get where she is through hard work. The romance is slow. Like, glacial. The "slow romance" tag is an understatement, and it might frustrate readers looking for a more immediate payoff in that department. I also feel like the magic system could be a bit more fleshed out early on. The flashbacks, while intended to build character, sometimes feel awkwardly placed and interrupt the flow of the story.
