My Thoughts on Discipline is the Most Important!
"Discipline is the Most Important!" certainly piqued my interest with its intriguing title and shoujo tag. I dove in expecting a lighthearted and perhaps slightly mischievous romance, and while it delivered on some fronts, I was left wanting more.

The premise is undeniably catchy: a 15-year-old girl, betrothed to a younger, supposedly arrogant 12-year-old boy, takes it upon herself to "discipline" him. The initial setup definitely grabbed my attention, leaving me curious about how this unconventional relationship would unfold. I will admit, the initial premise was a little strange, but I was willing to give it a chance.
What Works Well
The comedy aspect is definitely present, and I found myself chuckling at the sheer audacity of the female lead. The idea of a young woman taking charge in such a situation, especially within a noble setting, is quite refreshing. The story moves quickly, which can be a plus if you're looking for a very short and sweet read. The ending, though abrupt, does offer a glimpse of potential, with the boy seemingly humbled by the experience.

I was left with so many unanswered questions. How do they navigate their engagement in the future? Does genuine affection develop? What are the long-term consequences of her "discipline"? The lack of resolution is frustrating. I was looking for more depth and character development, but the story simply didn't provide enough time to explore these aspects.

"Discipline is the Most Important!" is a quick and amusing read with a promising premise, but its brevity ultimately holds it back. It's a fun little appetizer, but don't expect a full-course meal. If you're looking for a lighthearted, albeit incomplete, shoujo story, this might be worth a try. However, be prepared to be left wanting more. I'm giving it a tentative 3/5. It had potential, but it needed more substance.
