"Dear, It’s Time for Your Medicine!" promised a dark revenge tale, and while it has some interesting elements, my overall experience has been mixed. The novel follows a protagonist betrayed by his comrades, resurrected with his nemesis, and thrust back in time to exact revenge. It's a compelling premise, but the execution left me wanting more.

First Impressions

The initial hook of betrayal and a second chance at vengeance definitely grabbed my attention. The idea of the MC teaming up with his former enemy had me excited. However, as I delved deeper, I began to notice some inconsistencies that detracted from my enjoyment.

This constant negativity became tiresome and, frankly, detracted from the overall narrative. It felt like a significant amount of time was being used to show the MC being manipulated while voluntarily "playing as a pig to eat the tiger".
