The "unlimited flow" concept, where death isn't truly the end, but a transition to another game, felt fresh. The initial setup, with an MC who's a talented but unrealized actor thrust into these deadly games, and a ML who's a detective with a serious case of love at first sight, was definitely a hook. I was ready for some thrilling gameplay and blossoming romance.
What Works Well
The dynamic between the MC and ML is a major strength. The ML's obsessive pursuit of the MC across different instances is both amusing and endearing. I enjoyed the power dynamic, with the MC being a "power bottom" who isn't afraid to use his wits and even his love interest to survive. It's a refreshing twist on typical romance tropes.
The individual game instances themselves are creative and engaging, offering a variety of challenges and scenarios. The concept of "ghosts" versus "players" adds an interesting layer of complexity to the gameplay. Plus, the systems belonging to both the MC and ML are hilarious, especially the MC's protective system, 1069, who acts like an overbearing but loving parent.
