We're introduced to a protagonist grappling with amnesia, quickly followed by his adoption and the discovery of a significant martial arts manual. This rapid progression felt a bit rushed, leaving me wanting more time to connect with the characters and the world.
What Works Well
The core concept of a "weak to strong" narrative is compelling. The protagonist's journey isn't paved with instant power-ups; he has to work diligently to improve. This grounded approach to martial arts progression is a refreshing change of pace from the often-exaggerated power scaling found in some xianxia stories.
