"Your Fangs Are Perfect for Biting My Glands" promised a sweet and spicy ABO romance, and while it delivered on some fronts, it also stumbled in others. Overall, I found it to be an okay read, but not one that particularly blew me away.

The initial premise, with the omega MC disguising himself as an alpha to get closer to the ML, definitely piqued my interest. I was hoping for a fun, lighthearted story with plenty of comedic moments. At first, the MC's proactive nature and the ML's seemingly aloof demeanor had me hooked. I was ready for some classic black-bellied alpha shenanigans.
What Works Well
The early chapters definitely had their charm. The dynamic between the main couple, with the MC's boldness clashing against the ML's hidden desires, was enjoyable to watch unfold. I also appreciated that, despite being shy, the MC didn't completely back down in the face of adversity. The explicit scenes, though perhaps a bit early for some, were well-written and added to the overall spice factor. Some readers may find the side couple to be more their cup of tea.
Areas of Concern
Unfortunately, the story seemed to lose some of its luster as it progressed. The plot felt thin, relying on tired ABO tropes like the "omega pretending to be alpha" cliche and contrived drama involving love rivals. The side couple's storyline also took up a disproportionate amount of time, which detracted from the main romance for me. I also found the adult omega/high schooler alpha relationship in the side couple to be a bit off-putting. It felt uncomfortable and unnecessary.
