"Young Military Rarities" is a novel I approached with a mix of excitement and trepidation, given its blend of action, romance, supernatural elements, and yaoi themes within an apocalyptic setting. It's got a lot going on, and I was eager to see how well it all meshed.

First Impressions

The initial premise – a protagonist reborn into the past to protect his family from a coming apocalypse – is undeniably compelling. I was immediately drawn in by the promise of revenge, family dynamics, and the challenges of navigating a zombie-infested world with foreknowledge. However, some found the early pacing rushed, leaving me slightly disoriented. Others found the MC's actions to be unbelievable and at times off putting.
