I also appreciated the MC's gradual character growth and how he slowly comes to understand love in its various forms. The author does a good job of creating interesting side characters in each arc, making the worlds feel more alive. The overarching plot, even with its flaws, kept me engaged as I tried to piece together the original storylines and how the MC's actions were changing them.

The recurring themes of sexual abuse were unsettling, and I felt they weren't always handled with the necessary care and sensitivity.
