The contrast intrigued me, and I was eager to see how the author would balance the MC's initially passive nature with the demands of a cultivation world. It definitely had my attention from the start.
What Works Well
The dynamic between the MC and the system is genuinely hilarious. It's clear the author has a knack for comedic timing, and I found myself chuckling throughout the story. What I really appreciated was the MC's character development. While she starts off as lazy, she grows and evolves, eventually recognizing the importance of strength to protect those she cares about, particularly the FL. This growth felt natural and earned.
