My Thoughts on Watchmen

The initial chapters hooked me with the mystery surrounding the protagonist's father and the introduction of the dream-diving concept. The idea of unraveling secrets within the subconscious is inherently captivating, and I was eager to see where the author would take it.
What Works Well
The core concept of entering dreams to solve mysteries is undoubtedly intriguing. The novel excels in creating a sense of suspense and intrigue, particularly during the dream sequences. The author paints vivid and surreal landscapes within the dream world, making for a visually engaging experience. I was also drawn to the protagonist's personal journey, especially the mystery surrounding his father's past. This element added an emotional layer to the story, making me invested in the character's fate.

However, I did encounter a few stumbling blocks along the way. The logic behind the dream interpretations sometimes felt flimsy.
