Description
Luo Yuanxiao was once a transmigrator. Due to a plane crash, he transmigrated twenty years into the past, becoming a wealthy eldest young master with the same name and surname—and even encountered the childhood version of his male god. After painstakingly raising his male god until he turned eighteen, before he could even witness his brilliance, Luo Yuanxiao transmigrated back. The male god was a once-in-a-century piano prodigy—a mixed-blood, tall, handsome, and born into a prestigious family, he could be called a real-life prince. There are unreliable rumors saying… the male god grew up in China, facing a miserable and destitute childhood, until he was brought back home by his super-rich father after reaching adulthood. After transmigrating back, Luo Yuanxiao stated: The rumors are true. Sitting in the audience of Carnegie Hall, gazing at the now distant and unreachable mature version of the male god, he couldn’t help but shed tears of an “old father.”

My Thoughts on Third Movement
"Third Movement" is a rollercoaster of emotions wrapped in a sci-fi, shounen ai package with a side of slice-of-life goodness. I went in expecting a lighthearted read, and while there were definitely sweet moments, I was also hit with some serious emotional depth. This novel isn't afraid to explore complex themes, and that's something I really appreciate.
First Impressions
The premise itself is intriguing: time travel, multiple identities, music, and a love triangle? It sounds like a lot, and at first, I was a little worried it would be too much. But the author manages to weave these elements together in a way that feels surprisingly cohesive. The initial chapters drew me in with the promise of a unique story, and I wasn't disappointed.
What Works Well
I was captivated by the central love triangle, especially the dynamic between the main character (MC) and the two personalities inhabiting the male lead (ML). The conflict between Bai WenLin and Albert is intense, particularly because there's no communication between them. The fact that the MC views Albert as a younger sibling adds another layer of complexity to their relationship. I also found the author's handling of the MC's hearing loss to be commendable. It wasn't portrayed as something that needed to be "fixed" for him to be successful, which I found refreshing and realistic.

Final Verdict
Despite the emotional turmoil, I'd recommend "Third Movement" to anyone looking for a unique and thought-provoking read. The author tackles complex themes with sensitivity, and the characters are well-developed and engaging. Just be prepared to shed a few tears along the way. I'd give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars.
