Description
Nian Jinsui, an Alpha, finds himself transmigrated into a novel as the malicious fake young master Omega who is crazily obsessed with the protagonist top. Not only does he repeatedly frame the protagonist bottom, but he also bullies the villainous Beta, Qin Chengyu, who is living in his home. In the novel, this behavior leads to Nian Jinsui being tortured to death by Qin Chengyu. The worst part? He has to follow the storyline! How is he supposed to mistreat this poor pitiful guy when he can’t bring himself to do it?! System: If the mission isn’t completed, you’ll be punished. Please insult Qin Chengyu and call him your dog. Nian Jinsui: You’re my little dog… dog? System: … Please accept the punishment: “soft and delicate body.” Nian Jinsui: ? Later, the big villain returns to his family and gains control, just like in the novel, and specifically requests to marry Nian Jinsui. Nian Jinsui: Is he still trying to take revenge on me? Am I doomed to be tortured to death again? (T_T) To his surprise, upon their reunion, the overwhelming scent of pheromones strikes, and Qin Chengyu has actually undergone a second differentiation into an Alpha! Nian Jinsui: Don’t come near me! Qin Chengyu: Sui Sui, at last, you can stay by my side forever. Trying to stick to the storyline, Nian Jinsui attempts to run away, only to hear a crazed, sinister voice calling out from not far away. “Sui Sui, have you hidden well? I’m coming to find you.” Only then does Nian Jinsui realize that the obedient little puppy he once knew has long since turned into a mad dog.

My Thoughts on The Villain Is Good and Obedient? Haha, Guess What?
I dove into The Villain Is Good and Obedient? Haha, Guess What? with a healthy dose of curiosity, given its intriguing title and the buzz surrounding its omegaverse, transmigration premise. Overall, it was an enjoyable, albeit flawed, experience.
First Impressions
Initially, I was charmed. The setup is fairly standard for the genre: our MC gets sucked into a system and has to play the role of a villain. This leads to some pretty funny and awkward situations as he tries to fulfill the system's demands while navigating his relationships. The dynamic between the dense protagonist and the iceberg-like male lead had potential. I was hoping for a lighter read, and for a while, that's exactly what I got.
What Works Well
The humor is definitely a strong point. The MC's struggles with the system's bizarre commands often lead to laugh-out-loud moments. I also appreciated the interactions between the MC and the original protagonist; their camaraderie added a layer of warmth to the story. The possessiveness of the male lead, while potentially problematic, is played up in a way that some readers might find appealing, and the novel doesn't shy away from exploring that dynamic.
Areas of Concern
As the story progressed, I found myself getting a little frustrated. The MC's inability to defy the system, while integral to the plot, sometimes made him seem indecisive and, frankly, a bit strange. The system's continued interference, even when it seems detrimental to the MC's happiness, became tiresome. I felt that the romance felt rushed, with the male lead's yandere tendencies escalating before the MC seemed to genuinely reciprocate those feelings.

Final Verdict
The Villain Is Good and Obedient? Haha, Guess What? is a decent read, especially if you're looking for something lighthearted with a touch of humor and don't mind a slightly cliché plot. However, be aware that the story shifts in tone and the later developments might not appeal to everyone. I'd say it's worth checking out the first 100 chapters or so for the fluff, but proceed with caution if you're sensitive to potentially problematic romantic tropes. I'd give it a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars.
