It served as a catalyst for Tang Zhou to re-evaluate his life and approach Fu Shen differently, which I appreciated.

The biggest strength of this novel is the central relationship. Tang Zhou and Fu Shen are both compelling characters, each with their own vulnerabilities and strengths.
