"The Spoiled Daily Life of the Villain’s Mother" promised a heartwarming, comedic escape, and for the most part, it delivered. I went in expecting a lighthearted read, and I wasn't disappointed, even if some aspects didn't quite hit the mark for me.

The male lead appears very late in the novel, and their relationship doesn't get the development it deserves. I would have preferred the story to focus solely on the family dynamics. Additionally, some of the children received less attention than others. The children from the immortal cultivation world and the interstellar world got a lot less screen time, which was a shame, as their backstories were intriguing.
