"The Little Merman" promised a fluffy, easy read, and for the most part, it delivered. This yaoi novel blends fantasy and drama in a world where a little merman finds himself entangled with a human celebrity. While it wasn't without its flaws, I found myself charmed by the characters and the overall lightheartedness of the story.

I also found the cousin of the MC to be extremely annoying, his constant interference got old fast. Some also found the ML's disbelief in the MC to be annoying. The fact that he monitors every movement of MC and even secretly dig MC secrets + crossing many MC rules is just too much.
