The premise is classic: mistaken identity, marriage, a "white moonlight" appears, and then the regret kicks in. The initial chapters pulled me in with the mystery of the jasmine scent and the setup of the relationship between the main characters. I was ready for the angst.
What Works Well
For some, this novel hits the spot as a lighter, more subtle drama compared to heavier, angst-ridden stories. There's a certain sweetness to the main character, and some readers appreciated the fact that the main conflict stemmed from the male lead's own actions rather than external "green b*tches."
