First Impressions

From the very beginning, I was drawn into the world and the initial mu*der case that kicks everything off. The female lead's backstory, though not heavily dwelled upon, added a layer of intrigue that kept me hooked. I wanted to know more about her past and how it would influence the present.

What Works Well

I particularly enjoyed the episodic nature of the story. Each case felt fresh and engaging, and I loved how they gradually started to connect, building towards a satisfying climax. The author did a great job of balancing the individual mysteries with the overarching plot.

The characters are also a major strength. The female lead is smart, calm, and incredibly competent at her job, and I appreciated that she maintained a youthful spirit despite her serious profession.
